About CTK

Christ the King Assembly Australia is a Christ-centered, Holy Spirit empowered church committed to transforming lives, strengthening families, and advancing God’s Kingdom. We exist to exalt Jesus as King and to create a spiritual home where people encounter God’s presence, grow in His Word, and walk confidently in their divine purpose. Our heartbeat is to see individuals and families shaped into vessels that reflect God’s grace, love, and truth in every season of life.

As a diverse and welcoming church family, we embrace people from all nations, backgrounds, and journeys of faith. We believe that every person carries God-given potential, and it is our mission to nurture that purpose through discipleship, worship, fellowship, and Spirit-led ministry. Christ the King Assembly is more than a congregation; it is a spiritual family united under Christ’s Lordship and empowered by the Holy Spirit to impact our communities and the world.

What We Believe

At Christ the King Assembly Australia, our beliefs are rooted in Scripture and centered on Jesus Christ. We uphold the historic Christian faith and embrace the life-transforming work of the Holy Spirit. These statements represent the core convictions that guide our worship, teaching, and community life.

The Scriptures

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final rule for faith, doctrine, and daily living.
2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 119:105; Hebrews 4:12

The Trinity

We believe in one God who exists eternally in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—co-equal and co-eternal.
Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; John 14:16

God the Father

We believe God the Father is sovereign, loving, and holy. Through Him all creation exists, and in Him all life is sustained.
Psalm 103:19; 1 Corinthians 8:6

Jesus Christ the Son
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man.
• He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin.
• He lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended into heaven.
• He is the only Savior and soon-coming King.
John 1:1–14; Isaiah 7:14; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11
The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is the strength of the Church and the active presence of God in the world today. He:
• Convicts of sin
• Regenerates and sanctifies
• Empowers believers with spiritual gifts
• Guides, teaches, and fills those who seek Him
Acts 1:8; John 14:26; 1 Corinthians 12:4–11

Salvation
We believe salvation is a gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ. No human effort can earn salvation; it comes through repentance, forgiveness, and spiritual rebirth.
Ephesians 2:8–9; John 3:3; Romans 10:9–10
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ on earth—called to worship, disciple, serve, and proclaim the Gospel.
We affirm the unity of all believers and the importance of fellowship in a local church.
Ephesians 4:4–6; Hebrews 10:25; Acts 2:42–47
Water Baptism & Holy Communion

We believe in baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith in Christ.
We observe Communion in remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection.
Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26

Spirit Baptism & Spiritual Gifts

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as an empowering experience available to all believers, often evidenced by spiritual gifts such as speaking in tongues, prophecy, healing, and miracles.
Acts 2:4; 1 Corinthians 12:1–11; Acts 10:44–46

Holy Living
We believe believers are called to live in holiness, walking in love, integrity, purity, and obedience through the enabling power of the Holy Spirit.
1 Peter 1:15–16; Galatians 5:22–25
Marriage & Family
We believe marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, established by God. Families are a vital part of God’s design for discipleship and Christian community.
Genesis 2:24; Ephesians 5:31–33
The Second Coming of Christ
We believe Jesus Christ will return visibly and gloriously. He will gather His Church, judge the nations, and establish His eternal Kingdom.
1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Revelation 22:12
Resurrection & Eternal Destiny

We believe in the bodily resurrection of all people—eternal life for believers in Christ and eternal separation from God for those who reject Him.
John 5:28–29; Matthew 25:46

The Mission of the Church

We believe we are commissioned to preach the Gospel, make disciples, serve with compassion, and advance the Kingdom of God through the power of the Holy Spirit.
